In this beautiful Lee University Wedding, hidden inside the Chapel away from heavy pouring rain, a beautiful couple said their “I do’s”. If i could think of a wedding that Has moved me to tears (good thing i could hide it behind my camera), or made me laugh as hard, it was this one. The very morning when i saw Alli, she was sweet and cheerful, and right away gave me a big hug – and you know when a happy bride gives you a hug, its going to be a good day. Forget rainy weather… These people not only were a ton of fun, full of laughter and genuine happiness. They also came to support, pray for, reminisce and be every bit of what true family is.Then there was lots of dancing, toasting with awesome pink lemonade in some pretty cool looking mason jars, and cupcake smashing between the bride and groom.
One of my highlights of the day was the love story of these two. Apparently, as told by the maid of honor, it was Alli’s dream to one day marry a man who had a heart after God and had a voice of an angel. Cue Lance, who just happens to be a worship leader and a musician, and just happens to be everything she wanted. Sweet Alli is the kindest, sweetest girl with a biggest smile and compassionate heart, if her choice of a career in special education is any indication.
Now to the all important details: a gorgeous chapel on a hill, a rustic chic theme at the Old Woolen Mill, burlap details, mason jars, cookie dough mix favors, candy tables, textbooks, music notes, and everything pink… “Love is the key” was the theme throughout the wedding, and it couldn’t be more true.
